ALL ROADS LEAD TO CINEVERSE – AIC MEETS DANTE SPINOTTI

Il 24 luglio 2026, presso Cinecittà Studios, si è svolta la prima edizione di “CineVerse In Frame”, il ciclo di eventi che accompagnerà il percorso di avvicinamento a CineVerse (Expo con masterclass e seminari – frutto della prima collaborazione tra Eurocine e AIC – in programma a Cinecittà, Roma, il 16 e 17 ottobre 2026), creando occasioni di dialogo con alcune delle figure più eminenti del cinema internazionale. Ospite dell’incontro è stato l’acclamato Autore della Fotografia Dante Spinotti, AIC, ASC, la cui straordinaria filmografia ha plasmato l’immaginario cinematografico degli ultimi quattro decenni. Tra i suoi lavori figurano titoli quali Manhunter, Crimes of the Heart, The Last of the Mohicans, Heat, The Family Man, L.A. Confidential, The Insider, Red Dragon, and Public Enemies. La sua eccezionale carriera è stata inoltre impreziosita da due candidature agli Academy Awards, consacrandolo come uno dei cinematographers più influenti del cinema contemporaneo. L’evento, che ha visto la partecipazione di soci, partner e sponsor, ha rappresentato un sentito omaggio a uno dei membri più illustri dell’AIC.

The first edition of “CineVerse In Frame”, the series of events that will accompany us on the journey toward the opening of CineVerse (an Expo featuring masterclasses and seminars, marking the first partnership between Eurocine and the AIC, which will be held at Cinecittà in Rome on 16th–17th October 2026), creating opportunities for dialogue with some of the most prominent figures in international cinema, took place on July 24, 2026, at Cinecittà Studios. The guest was acclaimed cinematographer Dante Spinotti, AIC, ASC, whose extraordinary body of work has shaped the cinematic imagination of the past four decades. His credits include Manhunter, Crimes of the Heart, The Last of the Mohicans, Heat, The Family Man, L.A. Confidential, The Insider, Red Dragon, and Public Enemies. His remarkable career has been further distinguished by two Academy Award nominations, establishing him as one of the most influential cinematographers in contemporary cinema. The meeting was attended by members, partners, and sponsors, serving as a tribute to one of the AIC’s most important members.
