The AIC – Autori Italiani della Cinematografia is proud to present the commemorative logo created specifically for the 75th anniversary of its founding, which took place on May 13, 1950, at the historic Cinecittà Studios.

This special logo will accompany all AIC activities and events throughout 2025, emphasizing the significance of this milestone in the association’s history. The official AIC logo will remain unchanged, while this special edition logo will be used exclusively to celebrate the anniversary, paying tribute to the long tradition of our community and its continued evolution in the Italian and international cinematographic landscape.

Throughout the year, AIC will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a special program of events, which will be announced soon. Among the planned initiatives, we highlight the publication of a special issue of the AIC Bulletin, our historic magazine dedicated to cinematography.

Founded in 1950, AIC is one of the oldest and most prestigious cinematographers’ associations in the world. Since its inception, it has represented and promoted the culture of cinematographic imagery, supporting its members and nurturing new generations of cinematographers, otherwise known as directors of photography.
